Lakeside Suites - Kolkata

The surrounding area didn't offer much in terms of dining options, and the strong noise from street processions made sleep tricky. The slippery bathroom tiles were a hazard, and the lack of complimentary water bottles felt a bit stingy, especially when the wall sockets were problematic for charging a kettle.

It was an enjoyable stay on our next Kolkata visit.

Facilities were great, however Wi-Fi was slow.

Fairly clean hotel, absolutely kind staff & great location in the near city center. Tasty food choices for breakfast. Location near all the major attractions and the main market and good restaurants. Nice pool, parking nearby. No charge for wake up calls and ironing too. Quite comfortable overall experience.

The annoying persistence of the staff when we requested no cleaning was excessive!!! A clear 'do not disturb' policy would help!!! The location might be less busy, but the lack of vibrant surroundings can feel dull!!!

The breakfast was a delight, especially the corn flakes! I also loved the cozy common area where I could mingle. Plus, the daily cleaning kept things fresh.

Lunch and dinner were delicious, but the servings could use a boost! Perhaps a little more attention to our needs could really elevate the experience.

The lack of slippers was a bit annoying, but the spacious room was great!

A good breakfast surprise

The rooms were impeccably clean, and the management was genuinely kind and attentive.

I had a cracker of a stay! The location was sweet as, heaps of shopping nearby. Bit of a worry with slow WiFi and the tea bags weren't well-packaged, though.

Staying at lakeside suites was fantastic! The rooms were clean and spacious. It's super close to the city center. A big shoutout to manoj for the amazing service-he. Their staff is the best I've encountered.

Perfect spot for a getaway!

Super clean rooms with comfy beds. We loved brekkie outside, it felt super chill. The staff were always there, super helpful. Just wished there were more seating options for meals. A little cramped at times. But really, for a cozy stay in Kolkata, this place hits the mark!

Had a fantastic time with the spacious room that gave us enough space to do yoga. The daily yummy breakfast that fueled our mornings. The cozy living room and a fully equipped kitchen were perfect for relaxing and unwinding at the end of the day. Just wish the bathroom taps were a bit tighter, but overall, it was a lovely stay! 😊

The rooms offered a very clean and cozy atmosphere, ideal for relaxation after a day of exploring. Enjoying the delicious vegetarian breakfast every morning made for a great start to the day. The lack of non-vegetarian options and the rather limited dining facilities were a drawback. Although the location is convenient, it may not have the vibrant surroundings some travelers desire.

The hotel is well-guarded and clean. I particularly enjoyed the Smart TV with OTT subscriptions. Waking up to the city view was refreshing.

Had a wonderful 10-day stay here that truly felt like home. The staff, including Mr Manoj Jain, were incredibly kind and helpful. Everything was clean, the breakfast was delicious, but I did find the bed a bit firm and had some minor issues with the shower curtain. an amazing experience!
